HBM March NEWSLETTER

Dear Partners in Ministry,
Lida and I have just returned from a trip to Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. We did have some me to spend with

our children there. However the drought intensi ed as the rainy season came and went. Watching the corn germinate and then scorch to death, clouds appearing and then dissipa ng without any relief is devasta ng to any farmer.

The crop failure that is now a fact includes the threat of serious famine worsening over the next months - without enough moisture to support any harvest, our main focus will be on ge ng our workers through the famine. Many families live with the knowledge that hunger, starva on and even death is inevitable.
